FILIPINO RECIPES

Arozcaldo

Arozcaldo is a popular merienda/snack in the Philippines, a comfort food and perfect for a loved one with a cold. One of Pinoy's favorite dish!

(Goat Stew)
Goat meat are probably not eaten much by most people in UK but in the Philippines it is a delicacy and mostly serve in fiesta's, birthday, weddings and all other big occasions.

Cassava Bibingka (Cassava Cake)

Cassava a shrubby root plant, a delicious ingredient and a main
source of carbohydrates. Cassava Bibingka is also one of the popular desert in the Philippines. It's moist texture and sweetness is most delicious and satisfying.

Pancit Palabok (noodles)
As we know noodle is introduced to Philippines by the Chinese.
Filipinos took it and made dishes with ingredients available locally to them.
Pancit Palabok is made of rice noodle with shrimp and pork or chicken sauce
topped with what we call chicharon or pork crackling,
hard boiled egg, smoke fish, boiled shrimp, spring onions and lemon.

Banana Cake
A simple recipe that you can make with the family. Easy and delicious treat for the kids and adult.

Pork Menudo
The word Menudo means small diced things and traditionally all ingredients are cut uniformly diced. It is a stew dish influenced by the Mexican cooked with tripe and hominy and adopted by the Filipinos and made it their own. It is traditionally served with Rice or with bread of your choice. A mouth watering dish perfect for the whole family!

Adobong Pusit (Squid Adobo)


A unique scrumptious seafood made with garlic, tangy sauce and squid, a recipe common with Filipinos. It is a simple dish with a lot of taste. Seafood lovers this is one dish you have to try out!

Biko (Rice Cake with Caramel)

Biko is a traditional Filipino desert, it is usually served during parties and holidays such as birthdays and fiesta's. Biko is made from malagkit (glutinous) rice, coconut, sugar top or mix with latik (caramel). Some mix the latik with the rice and sometimes also add some latik toppings
